dc.description.abstractApplication MASTERCAM software in manufacturing field is a great value to upgrade the quality and efficiency of production in industry. This project investigate the tool management in the automated application of CNC machining. Available toolings were input into the library within MASTERCAM and its selection is made easy. Automated tool charger was also activated for a more automated machining operation. Case study was set up experimentally through actual machining of a wooden workpiece with different tool requiment. Automated machining of a workpiece has been done by milling machine DECKEL MAHO model FP4-60T. A job planning was prepared and the parameter and the operation for machining were set up using MASTERCAM. Workpiece model was created by SOLIDWORK before transferred it to MASTERCAM. Implementation route is proven to be succesful
