dc.description.abstractThis project involves the design of fixtures in a local industry that improve the machine flexibility by allowing the changeover of standard mould catered between Bobst Die-Cut and Jaw Die-Cut machine. The first designed fixture enables the factory to utilize smaller die cut mould normally fitted onto jaw die cut machine, to switch to Bobst Die-Cut machine for high speed production during peak order seasons. Another fixture is designed to fit the resized mould onto the fixed platen ofthe Jaw Die-Cut machine. Furthermore, by having the fixtures design to suit Bobst Die-Cut machine and Jaw Die-Cut machine, smaller mould can be order from supplier, instead of order larger mould that cost more to the company
