The growing demand for tin and tungsten, combined with the depletion of high-grade ore resources, needs more efficient extraction methods from lower-grade middling. This research examines the present extent of knowledge on selective methods of recovery for tin and tungsten from difficult materials. This research aims to study about characterization, extraction, and the capability of recovery valuable minerals left in middling. For mineralogical and chemical composition research, including grade analysis and process selection, particle size analysis, observation under light reflected microscope, X-ray Fluorescence (XRF), and X-Ray Diffraction (XRD) will be used. At the beginning of the research, the raw sample will go through visual observation, microscopic analysis, XRD analysis, and XRF analysis. A mozley table will be used to separate the raw samples. Following the completion of the mozley table procedure, the high specific density samples will go through to the magnetic separator. Finally, when the magnetic procedure is complete, the magnetic samples will go through to High Tension Roll Separator. Samples from every physical process needed are pulverised and the results were analyzed using XRF and XRD. It requires modern extraction technologies that raise recovery rates and refine procedures, resulting in greater efficiency and purity of these metals. The knowledge obtained from this study can help improve the recovery of tin-tungsten from lowgrade middling.
