Biomass energy has been used for power generation for centuries, and it is the most common biomass energy source. The working principle of biomass gasifier, based on partial ignition of biomass waste. Biomass wastage contains molecular of hydrogen, carbon and oxygen. After partial ignition these molecular components decompose to hydrocarbon and carbon monoxide, these are producer gasses. In this project, the biomass that will be used is wood chips. Wood chips was converted to producer gas in an open core down draft gasifier whose performance was evaluated in terms of fuel consumption rate, temperature profile and gasification efficiency were determined for every run on each of ejector. The ejector that used is 2mm and 4mm in diameter size of the hole.
