| dc.description.abstract | The palm oil harvesting technique generally employed sickle for tall palm and a sharp wedge for short palm. The study will analysed the effect of different cutter parameter on the cutting force. The student is expected to understand cutting force analysis particularly those employed in cutting tool analysis and the same approach is applied to the palm oil sickle or blade. Measurement will include friction force and cutting force. After that, we will design of palm oil harvester knife. | |
