Abstract
The potential benefits of utilizing Ta-C coated bracket braces and aged NiTi archwires in orthodontic treatment, the aging treatment enhances the mechanical properties of NiTi wires, leading to reduced friction and improved orthodontic performance. The Ta-C coating on bracket braces reduces friction during unloading, resulting in continuous force reduction and stable performance. These findings collectively suggest that the combination of Ta-C coated bracket braces and aged NiTi archwires has the potential to significantly enhance orthodontic treatment outcomes, revolutionizing safety, effectiveness, patient comfort, and treatment results. The advantages of using Ta-C coated bracket braces and aged NiTi archwires include reduced friction, improved oral hygiene, enhanced bracket alignment, and increased overall durability and performance. However, further research and comprehensive testing are necessary to validate these findings, assess the long-term safety and effectiveness of the Ta-C coating and aged NiTi archwires in real-world clinical applications, and optimize orthodontic treatment protocols.Orthodontists and patients are encouraged to explore the potential benefits of utilizing Ta-C coated bracket braces and aged NiTi archwires. However, it is important to acknowledge the ongoing need for further research to solidify the conclusions and refine these innovative technologies in orthodontic practices. This study specifically focuses on the effect of aging treatment on the force-deflection behavior of superelastic NiTi archwires bent in three-bracket in same interbracket distance. The findings reveal that the aging treatment effectively lowers the bending force generated by the NiTi archwires during the unloading cycle. The plateau slope, representing force constancy, significantly differs between as received and aged wires. Aged wires at 490°C for 45 minutes exhibit the lowest unloading forces during three-bracket bending and shows force reduction compared to as-received wires. The aging parameter of 490°C for 45 minutes demonstrates the best constant force delivery in three-bracket bending. The aging treatment approach can be further utilized to adjust the deformation behavior of superelastic NiTi archwires for appropriate force application during tooth leveling treatment
