Replica trophy production often face challenges in customization, interactivity, and cost-efficiency. This research addresses these challenges by integrating Mixed Reality (MR) technology, including Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR), into the design and final product of replica trophies. The study aims to enhance user engagement through interactive elements and optimize mass production using advanced manufacturing techniques such as 3D printing and 5-axis CNC milling machining. To achieve this, the trophy components were designed using SolidWorks 2023 and fabricated through precise manufacturing processes. The Witness Horizon simulation software was employed to identify efficiency improvements, reducing the production time for a single trophy from 14 hours and 52 minutes to 6 hours and 26 minutes and for five trophies from 75 hours and 19 minutes to 32 hours and 10 minutes. Additionally, the production cost was lowered from RM 170.28 to RM 160.01 per trophy. User testing validated the functionality and user experience of the integrated VR and AR features, with respondents reporting high satisfaction levels and enhanced interaction with the trophy. The findings demonstrate the significant benefits of incorporating MR technology into product design and manufacturing, aligning with Industry 5.0 principles of human-centric, efficient, and sustainable practices. This research underscores the transformative potential of MR technologies and optimized manufacturing processes in producing interactive and cost-effective replica trophies, offering valuable insights for future advancements in the field.
