dc.description.abstractKarbon teraktif (AC) rnerupakan salah satu penjerap yang paling kerap digunakan disebabkan kapasiti penjerapannya yang sangat baik. Walaubagaimanapun, penggunaan AC dibelenggu oleh kos penyediaannya yang tinggi. Oleh itu regenerasi karbon teraktif terpakai menjadi tumpuan penyelidik. Imobilisasi biomass kerap digunakan kerana meritnya termasuklah perlindungan bakterialmikroorganisma dari pendedahan terus terhadap kepekatan awal substrat yang tinggi, pengasingan yang mudah dan potensi penjanaan semula biomass. Activated carbon (AC) is one of the most widely used adsorbents due to its excellent adsorption capacities. However, the application of AC is plagued by relatively high cost associated with its preparation. Thus, the regeneration of spent activated carbon is of great interest to researchers.en_US
