| dc.description.abstract | This report consists of the resalts obtained from the HA!399 project that vas carried out over one academic session. The report consists of a description of the design of a library of str.ing handll.ng routl.nes tor implementing character string handling in FOBlRAN and the design considerations made. The abilities and limitations of the system were pointed out. A proposed method for implementing pattern matching vas described and its merits and demerits were highlighted. The results of the programming part of the project were presented in the torm of some sample runs. The two languages that influenced the course of the project were look into. In fact tae st.cing handling routines are a simulation of PL/l string handling facilties. | en_US |
