Abstract
Hantavirus is a serious disease caused by rodents which can leads to high mortality rate. Many efforts had been done by researchers to study the Hantavirus solution and the recent study showed that the infectious diseases are caused by biodiversity. In this dissertation, we will study Hantavirus model that initiated by Abramson and Kenkre (2002), the extended model by Abramson and Peixoto (2006), biodiversity influences and spread of Hantavirus infection. We also propose a new model that believes can reduce the spread of Hantavirus infection among human. Here, we are only focusing the Hantavirus solution by the Fourth Order Runge-Kutta method. The numerical solution is obtained by a function in Matlab 7.0 software that resolves ordinary differential equations. Our new mathematical model is extended model from Abramson and Peixoto (2006) mathematical model and it is shown that the Hantavirus infection is reduced by the influences of biodiversity. The numerical solution will be done for each model that had been discussed with different values of parameter.
