To meet the demands of minerals, supply from these industries, mining and quarrying are done to extract the mineral from earth. One of the important stages of mining and quarrying is the blasting operation; the operation is to fragmentize the rock mass. Resultant fragmentation affects the subsequent processes such as loading, hauling and comminution. Hence, it is always desirable to achieve optimum ground vibration level. This study is done to analyse the vibration produced by blasting operation. Objective of this study is to study the blast vibration caused due to surface mine blasting, and prediction of safe explosive charge for safety of surface structures. in Selinsing Gold Mine produces optimum ground vibration level or not. It is also done to find the site constant β and k for predicting vibration and to develop a greater awareness and an appreciation that ground vibration induced by blasting does not always result in structural damage. To construct the model maximum charge per delay, distance from blasting face to the monitoring point, and other blast design are taken as input parameters, whereas, peak particle velocity (PPV) is considered as an output parameter. To identify the remedial measures to decrease or mitigate the negative impacts of blast vibration. As for blast monitoring, reading for vibration is taken using Instantel Blastmate III. All data gathered are then analysed and the value of site constant for the place of interest is obtained; β = 1.53 and k = 899 for vibration. The value can be used to predict vibration that will be produced by future blast operation.en_US
