dc.description.abstractThe study of the use of elliptic curve for public key cryptosystem has been developed almost twenty years ago. The strength of the elliptic curve cryptosystem relies on the elliptic curve discrete logarithm problem (ECDLP) solutions. This thesis will focus on Elliptic Curve Cryptography based on prime field. Firstly, this thesis will propose a new method of imbedding plaintext to the point on elliptic curve. After that, the thesis will implement encrypt and decrypt process for Elliptic Curve Cryptography by using two most popular protocol cryptosystem, EIGamal Elliptic Curve Cryptosystem and Menezes - Vanstone Cryptosystem. 'MaplelO' Software is used to find and compute points on the elliptic and also computing addition and scalar multiplication in the implementation Elliptic Curve Cryptography. Finally, this thesis will make a comparison between EIGamal Elliptic Curve Cryptosystem and Menezes-Vanstone Cryptosystem based on the space consumption, time consumption and their security in the Elliptic Curve Cryptography respectivelyen_US
