dc.description.abstractThis academic exercise aims to investigate the tourist industry in Batu Feringgi. The tourist industry has often been claimed and often times proven too, to be an important employer and revenue earner for many developing countries. This is due to the large number of jobs created in the tourist facilities such as hotels, restaurants, shopping units , travel firms and others. Revenue, on the other hand, is earned from taxes imposed on the tourists, accommodation, transportation, food and entertainment, gifts and souvenirs, guiding services and other miscellaneous items.en_US
