Abstract
The shape of the original function schemes although is smooth, but it does
not preserved the shape of the curve. This problem will be discussed in this
dissertation. This dissertation is about shape preserving interpolant for positive,
monotone and convex data. The model that uses to interpolate the data points is
piecewise Timmer rational cubics. In the description of rational interpolant, it
contains two families of parameters to preserve the shape of the data in each interval.
The scheme has been developed for automated generation of preserving shape of
each data points. The degree of smoothness for interpolation attained is Cl
