dc.description.abstract | The objective of this dissertation is to develop a simple step-by-stel hypothesis testing procedure for the manufacturing industry. Manufacturing will fin< it helpful as they can easily apply it without further understanding the complexity 0 the statistical equations, theorems and others. Further, with the print screen fron the Minitab software plus the output interpretation from the software, the industrie~ only required following through all of the steps and interpreting the results from thE . A case study is also included in this dissertation to illustrate the simple stepby- step hypothesis testing procedure to find out whether the new proposed packing box is compatible compared to the current material, before accepting it for mass production.
