By documenting the differences of the number of species in the tropical rainforests, it may provide insight into the structural pattern of complexity of the natural communities. Why species assemblages show patterns of spatial or temporal variability inside heterogeneous habitats? Objectives encompas several aspects of population persistence such as the determination of the mammal diversity and their species composition in the heterogenous habitats, identification of vegetation mammals relationships and microhabitat, correlation between habitat complexity, and spacing patterns of mammals and the development of a basic model for conservation and management of species. Different approaches involves live-trapping of mammals, species identification, determination of microhabitat parameters, and statistical analysis for the elucidation of population results.en_US
