In this thesis, we utilize the structural properties of scale-free networks and the biological knowledge about individual genes and proteins to reconstruct metabolic networks represented as enzyme graph and protein interaction networks. A multi-objective optimization based method has benn proposed which uses the structural properties of scalefree networks and the biological knowledge.en_US
