dc.description.abstractWest Malaysia are rich in natural resources, including geothermal energy resources. Especially in Ulu Legong, Kedah, geothermal energy in this area are very stable over the years and suitable to be developed as industrial areas for fish farming using geothermal aquaculture application. To date, not a single fish farming or agriculture industry in Malaysia that uses geothermal heat as an energy source even though Malaysia has that sort of energy sources. Low-temperature geothermal systems as a cheap and renewable energy source will raise the production and quality of the fish due to the temperature and chemical content of geothermal water. The temperature and chemical content of geothermal water are very crucial and helps the production of fish ponds and improve its quality. In turn, this will raise the revenue or income for small entrepreneurs such as breeder and pond fish farmers. This research is a review and feasibility study of geothermal water source from Ulu Legong Hot Springs to be used as aquaculture application.en_US
