Abstract
Stretchable printed package using graphene as conductive ink is one of the recent technology to be developed nowadays. The stretchable package is prepared using a polysiloxane as the substrate for the graphene ink. Graphene ink is formulated with specific ingredients like high molecular weight polydimethylsiloxane-hydroxide (PDMS-OH), glycidyl and tin-catalyst in order to attain stretchable behavior as well as maintaining its conductivity. Four samples of printed package is prepared with each containing different amount of graphene content. The PDMS is formulated to become a substrate that is compatible with the ink to produce a stretchable package. This project will determine the electrical properties of the package, particularly the conductivity and resistivity of the graphene ink in normal and stretched condition, the mechanical properties, particularly the tensile and stretchable behavior of the printed package, as well as the appropriate formulation in producing a stretchable and conductive graphene ink to be printed onto the substrate, producing a compatible stretchable conductive printed package.Four graphene-PDMS printed package were produced with among the samples, some show good conductivity and light illumination, also good stretchability and mechanical properties. The best formulation in making the graphene ink and PDMS substrate is determined.
