In the corona-based wireless sensor networks (WSN), the interior coronas have shorter expected lifetime because the nodes which located in these coronas consume more energy than exterior coronas and accordingly they die faster, In this paper, we investigate the lifetime of corona-based WSN with varied number of corona and we shows that using two coronas is optimum for maximizing lifetime in the free space environments,en_US
