dc.description.abstractThe constructions of Coons patches in this dissertation had been divided int< several parts starting with the bilinear followed by bicubic and generalized bicubi< Coons patches. This dissertation also discusses on the problem of mixed second partia derivatives for Coons patches and its solution of either setting all the mixed seconc partial derivatives to zero or using the Gregory square method. Brown square is a generalization of Coons surface. This dissertation also discusses on the triangular Coons patches which could be obtained from a rectangular Coons patch. Examples of objects combined both the triangular and rectangular Coons patches are obtained.en_US
