;Ng, Chuck LamLee, Chun HuatLaporan ini menerangkan rekabentuk dan pengimplementasi projek kami iaitu Sistem Simulasi Untuk Pemproses Mikro Motorola 6800. ( Motorola 6800 Microprocessor Simulator System ) . - ItemOn Planar Harmonic Mappings And Minimal Surfaces(Universiti Sains Malaysia, 2014-11-30)

Ups and downs in sales can be absorbed by inventory, just as the car springs absorb bumps in the road. Without inventories, production would have to respond directly to sales if service to customers were not to suffer. Inventories also disengage manufacturing operations with different production rates. Lot-size inventories make possible fewer machine setups and higher machine utilization. Work-in-process guards against idle time of people and downtime of equipment resulting from erratic flow. xi This dissertation discusses the multi-stage production inventory system with unequal-sized batches. We want to make the comparison of the minimal cost if the production is run in different processes. Although there have been some researchers have been carried out in this area, there is no research considering the interrupted process with unequal sized bathes. Our first model discusses the production system with the constant value for the ratio of batches' size. In the second model, the value for the ratio of two adjacent batches' size is a variable. We also compare the cost in different situations. The objective of the models is to minimize the total cost. The solutions procedures to these models are found using the searching method. Solutions to some solutions of the models cannot be found directly from the formula derived. Therefore, we form out several algorithms and find the solutions using computer programming. They are illustrated with numerical examples and a discussion on the result is carried out.
