Today, research on retinal fundus disease is exploding for a number of reasons. The issue with images is their poor quality, which makes it challenging for medical professionals to correctly examine the situation. To address this issue, a technique to enhance the quality of the retinal fundus has been put forth in this work. In this research, a novel technique based on subdividing colour pictures into three channels is suggested to solve these issues (red, green, and blue). Prior to joining the original red and blue channels, the green channel is strengthened using the CLAHE approach and sent through a Median filter. The proposed method was repeated by strengthened the green channel with CLAHE only, CLAHE with Wiener filter, and CLAHE with Mean filter. The efficacy of the proposed method is evaluated through different performance parameters like Peak Signal to Noise Ratio (PSNR) and Mean-Square Error (MSE). The proposed method CLAHE with Median filter achieved an average of 23.76996db in PSNR and an average of 281.27905 in MSE.
