Renewable energy plays a key role in Malaysia’s transition to sustainable power generation, but accurate estimation of wind and solar potential remains challenging due to biases in numerical models such as the Weather Research and Forecasting (WRF) model. This study evaluated the performance of WRF parametrisation schemes at CEMACS (Penang) and Kuching (Sarawak) using high-resolution (1 km) simulations.
