Recently, agriculture is entering a trend to integrate itself with technology no matter AI, IoT, or big data. Achieving some benefits, a smart fertigation system needs to be included inside every farming area or plantation, even small offices that have plants. This project is about a Smart Fertigation System using NPK sensor with implement of FPGA. After some research and paper studied, the soil can be categorized as a good condition soil according to their values based on some nutrient percentage. Besides, there are also a lot of smart systems that have started improving farmer efficiency. For example, smart irrigation systems, soil sensor designing and some others related projects. These projects have been done to achieve the objective of helping the development of agriculture. Like Smart Fertigation System, it consists of two parts which are monitoring part which detect nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium content in the and automation part which automatically fertigate the plant using water pump. From the results collected, there is evidence that the NPK percentage inside the soil is decreasing more rapidly during daytime. Besides, the interval between the fertilizer pump applies the fertilizer is around 4-6 hours in daytime, however for night-time, pump will be in rest state according to the result collected. In the prototype testing simulation, the total fertilizer pumping was applied 4 times in 48 hours. In general, Smart Fertigation System is a system that can detect the NPK value of soil and response to the value detected by applied the fertilizer if the NPK value is detected low quality. This smart system must be a system that will enhance the farmer’s working quality.
