Abstract
Recent years have witnessed a rise in research interest in distributed power generation facilities with integrated fuel cell systems and linked energy storage for grid system applications using LLC resonant converters. Due to the unpredictable and intermittent nature of renewable energy sources and loads, energy storage technologies like batteries and supercapacitors are needed to meet demand and improve the changing and constant-state performance of the sources. However, employing numerous DC-DC converters is required when using different energy sources, which adds to the complexity. This paper proposes a multiport LLC resonant converter for grid-connected systems. A voltage source inverter for the grid system and a fuel cell system are all included in the proposed configuration. The suggested design will be tested using MATLAB/Simulink R2022 software.
