dc.description.abstractThe study investigates the factors that influence the intention to use educational management information systems (emis): insights from private universities in the uae. Furthermore, the research aims to analyze the relationship between the factors and tam, ttf, d&m, and p trust. Private universities in the uae are facing a huge problem managing their information systems. Emis is the solution that can improve decision-making and operational efficiency in the education sector. Nevertheless, there are reasons why executive-level managers resist the use of emis. Structural equation modeling is utilized to analyze the gathered data and validate 25 hypotheses in this study, which comprises an online survey of 314 executive-level managers working in private universities in the uae. Three fundamental models were selected with a new variable from use of technology (utaut), innovation diffusion theory (idt), and a mediator variable from psychology studies (psy). This study provides valuable insights that could help executive-level managers learn about the use of educational management information systems. According to empirical evidence, the intentions to use emis in uae private universities are significantly and directly influenced by self-efficiency, technology characteristics, system quality, and their relationship with perceived ease of use.
