Abstract
The dynamic global market has compelled businesses to swiftly adapt, with Hong Kong's watchmaking industry struggling to match the quality of Swiss watches. To address this, the Hong Kong Productivity Council has proposed strategies to boost manufacturing performance. This study examines how organisational factors (OF) - customer relationship management (CRM), supplier relationship management (SRM), employee empowerment and involvement (EEI), communication (C), and teamwork (T) - affect knowledge management (KM) and its direct impact on quality performance (QP) in watchmaking companies. It also explores KM's mediating role between OF and QP, and the moderating effect of organisational culture (OC) on the KM-QP relationship.
