Abstract
The findings show that Miao batik exhibits profound design characteristics and meanings, especially in terms of motifs. Based on these findings, a traditional design model was developed to support the preservation of Miao batik heritage. In addition, it aims to increase cultural awareness among the younger generation and further strengthen the value of Miao batik as a form of traditional textile art in China. This model offers practical guidance that combines traditional and contemporary design elements to ensure the sustainable development of Miao batik.
