Abstract
Volume measurements obtained from the tank during the measuring process must be referred with a capacity table that was generated using the proper standards. The fill level values obtained, and matching volume values from the reference table are listed in each row of the capacity table. Conventional process took time as it is done manually and may produce inaccurate measurement due to factors such as human error and the slosh of the gasoline in the tank. Therefore, the implementation of the system contributes to the elimination of the inconvenient manual process and introduces better accuracy and efficiency of the data recording process. The aim of this project is to develop an IoT-based automated gasoline volume and flow rate monitoring system to eliminate the conventional manual process with the integration of hardware components, software, and Blynk. This system is developed with thorough testing processes in order to ensure the reliability, functionality and integration of each component in the system. Extra consideration is given to the flow sensors to ensure the flow sensors are well calibrated in order to achieve the objective of this project. The measurement of pulse recorded by the flow sensors and the obtained desired variable such as volume and flow rate are ensured to be in low percentage of error to ensure the system is capable of measuring desired variables in real time and displaying accurate measurement of variables to the user through the Blynk application. The challenges faced during the development of the project are discussed and gone through the troubleshooting process in order to successfully develop the system to be functional and achieve its desired objectives
