| dc.description.abstract | The project is to study about a spray drying plant characteristic. A spray drying plant is used in food processing to getting good quality of product. There for spray drying process also used for changing liquid, for example detergent to become powders. The principle of spray drying is the atomization of the liquid phase in to tiny drops and their dispersion in the hot gas stream, because the atomization of the liquid increase the surface for heat and mass transfer the increased surface cause of shorter drying period. In this project of Jnk 591 for final year project, this report will discuss or study about characteristic of the spray drying plant. The project report will explain detail about the characteristic of spray drying plant. ✓ principles of spray drying operation ✓ applications ✓ unit operation ✓ typical of spray drying - cyclone spray drying - roger spray dryer ✓ pre concentration of liquid ✓ atomization ✓ high pressure spray jet ✓ heat and mass transfer in the dryer ✓ drying of a droplet ✓ separation of dry particle ✓ instantize powders - instantizing process - partical ogglomeration ✓ selection of operating conditions Practical work is not including in this project and only study to understand the characteristic. | |
