This report presents the culmination of a final-year project aimed at developing a digital clock integrated with Network Time Protocol (NTP) for enhanced accuracy and synchronization. The project addresses the critical need for precise timekeeping in various applications by leveraging the capabilities of NTP to synchronize the clock with reliable time sources over the network. The report outlines the design considerations, architecture, and implementation details of the digital clock system, emphasizing the integration of NTP for time synchronization. Key components of the project include the selection of hardware components and the development of software algorithms for NTP communication and clock display. Additionally, the report discusses the challenges encountered during the development process and the strategies employed to overcome them. Through rigorous testing and evaluation, the implemented digital clock demonstrates improved precision and synchronization compared to traditional standalone clocks. The findings of this project contribute to the advancement of timekeeping technology and hold potential for applications in various industries where accurate time synchronization is paramount.
