Solar energy is one of the forms of renewable energy that has seen a significant increase in demand over the past few years. One of the primary issues with conventional solar panels is the lack of ability to produce the amount of energy that may be demanded by the consumer. Therefore, there is a requirement for more solar panels to be utilized for fulfil the consumer demand. The IOT Solar Tracker was built to gather more energy than is produced by traditional solar panels, which was the motivation behind its development. The Internet of Things is utilized by solar trackers to facilitate communication between the digital and physical worlds via the Internet. The upgrading of a solar tracker device through the implementation of an IoT function will be the focus of this project. Using the Blynk application, NodeMCU ESP8266 will be used as the control unit to monitor voltage, current and power consumption to construct an intelligent Internet of Things Solar Tracking System. The Arduino Integrated Development Environment (IDE) as a compiler for coding, a photoresistor sensor, and a current sensor INA219 are being utilized during the development of this project.
