| dc.description.abstract | The occurrence of infectious diseases among on-site construction workers remains a significant challenge, particularly for small-scale contractors with limited resources. Despite existing preventive measures, inadequate welfare facilities and inconsistent implementation of control strategies continue to present substantial risks, affecting both worker well-being and overall project sustainability. This study aims to (1) assess the awareness of Sarawak’s small-scale contractors regarding on-site welfare facilities, (2) examine their perspectives on infectious disease prevention approaches, and (3) develop and validate a redefined hierarchy of controls framework. | |
