Owing to its numerous sources and sinks, carbon dioxide (CO2) is one of the best-known climatically important gases that exhibits significant temporal and geographical variations. Therefore, we investigated sources and sinks of carbon in a tropical coastal area. This study focuses on the variables influencing the coastal input and output of carbon flux of the sea.
