dc.description.abstractThis report presents a small eBay like auctioning system using Linda based distributed shared memory ( DSM ). The small eBay uses the tuple space as the DSM and adapts tuples as items to be advertised. Apart from bringing the buyers and sellers together in a never-ending yard sale and auction, the small eBay system permit direct searching of relevant item for buying and selling. Sellers able to put any items into shared memory. However, buyers could find and get their items as well.
