Abstract
Parcel delivery has been revolutionized by the rapid growth of e-commerce, which presents logistics management with both opportunities and challenges. When it comes to managing the increasing number and complexity of parcel deliveries, traditional delivery techniques are becoming less and less effective, which frequently affects efficiency and security. Robust techniques for parcel verification, fast recipient notifications, remote control features, and advanced security measures are missing from current systems. The primary issues in traditional parcel receiving systems are ineffective parcel verification, inadequate notification system, limited remote control capabilities, and insufficient security measures. This research aims to address these issues through three objectives which are developing an automated delivery system with enhanced parcel verification and real-time notification, implementing remote control functionalities via Telegram chatbot, and integrating two-factor authentication to strengthen security. The research effectively developed a prototype that showed its effectiveness in resolving the stated issues by using a systematic approach including system requirements analysis, design implementation, and rigorous testing procedures.
The results of the research showcase the successfulness of the implementation of the advanced features into the Parcel Receiving Storage System using User-Defined Activation and Control. Several tests have been done to test these features. These features also have been evaluated in order to determine whether the research managed to achieve the objectives of the research or not. In summary, this research's advanced parcel receiving storage system offers enhanced efficiency, user convenience, and security while efficiently addressing major issues with existing systems, thereby providing an effective solution to the issues faced by modern e-commerce parcel delivery.
