Abstract
This study aims to examine the success factors of implementing the human resource management information system (hrmis) in jordan’s ministry of finance (mof) and its affiliated departments, including customs, the income and sales tax department, the department of land and survey, government procurement department, and the general budget department. The study analyzes the interplay of employee behavior, organizational structure, and technology that impact the successful implementation of hrmis. The study employs a qualitative methodology, utilizing indepth interviews as the primary method for gathering data on the success of hrmis implementation. The interviews involve managers and section heads who have firsthand experiences and insights about the system implementation. Thematic analyses were conducted to gain a deeper understanding of the variables that influence the success or failure of hrmis implementation. Key findings reveal that employees who were open to learning and adapting to new technologies significantly contributed to the successful implementation of hrmis in some departments. Flexible and less bureaucratic organizational structures also facilitated smoother adoption of the system in enhancing its effectiveness.
