| dc.description.abstract | Construction sector in Malaysia developing towards achieving Vision 2020. In the construction field two elements that play very important role are factor of cost and time. Therefore, it is very important to conduct a research on the use of aluminium formwork. The cost of formwork is about 30 % of the whole cost of project. Related to that, a research on is suitability had been carried out. In this research, the suitability is assessed through the use of. One of the major topics that have been discussed in this research is the advantages, its suitability and also the method of using aluminium formwork in construction sector. Based on research, the using of this formwork system is found to be effective for shorter project duration and environmental friendly if compared with other conversional methods. As a suggestion, it is important to plan a suitable method of formwork system which is suitable for the project so that it can minimum the whole cost of project. | |
