| dc.description.abstract | The purpose of this project is to develop a GIS database for Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) Engineering Campus. The data base is important for information storage, archive and management about USM Engineering Campus. The main software that had been used in this project are ArcView GIS And Idrisi GIS. The result shows that the system can perform query and analysis about the campus development. Comparison with the as-built map has also been done. All the spatial information was integrated in a digital form and can be uploaded into a data base. The Integration between ArcView GIS and Idrisi GIS using information from archive has created a GIS data base which is consumer friendly and up to date. | |
