dc.description.abstractToday's manufacturing industry is constantly challenged by global competition, rapid technological advancements, and economic shocks, compounded by environmental concerns and the need for continuous innovation. In response, manufacturers are increasingly adopting advanced technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Big Data Analytics (BDAC) to enhance operational efficiency and supply chain resilience (SCRes) and performance (SCP). This study explores the direct and indirect effects of AI and BDAC capabilities on SCRes and SCP, employing Organizational Information Processing Theory (OIPT) and Dynamic Capabilities Theory (DCT) as its theoretical bases. The research was conducted using Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modelling (PLS-SEM) on a sample of 208 diverse manufacturing firms in Jordan. The findings underscore the pivotal role of Adaptive Capabilities (AC) as mediators, transforming AI and BDAC investments into significant improvements in SCRes and SCP.
