dc.description.abstractThis study aimed to assess the direct medical costs for individuals diagnosed with SCZ at the Hospital Pulau Pinang in Malaysia. In addition, the study aimed to identify the characteristics linked to inpatient and outpatient costs and to assess the potential impact on the national budget for the Ministry of Health in Malaysia, resulting from introducing and adding lumateperone within the current standard care treatment mix for SCZ in Malaysia.
