The study examines the impacts of the canvas learning management system (lms) on the motivation, engagement, and interaction of private school students in al ain city, abu dhabi, in learning the english language. A quantitative approach was employed wherein data were collected from a purposive sample of 333 grade 8 students through an adopted questionnaire administered via google forms and canvas lms. Statistical analysis was conducted with spss version 22, utilizing correlation and regression techniques to establish the relations between lms usage and key educational outcomes. Results revealed a statistically significant positive relationship between canvas lms usage and intrinsic and extrinsic motivation. The system also had an extremely strong positive influence on all three dimensions of student engagement cognitive, emotional, and behavior. Moreover, evidence demonstrated that canvas lms significantly enhances student-teacher, student-student, and student-content interactions by means of functionality such as discussion boards, peer review, group projects, and multimedia. These findings indicate that canvas lms significantly supports and enhances the learning process by encouraging active participation, improved understanding, and meaningful collaboration among k–12 students
