This research addresses critical gaps in understanding FinTech adoption among Chinese consumers, focusing on prevalent solutions over recent years. Amidst China's vast market potential and unique internet restrictions, it examines demographic profiles, including the elderly and gender-based disparities, challenging conventional global trends. Using the Technology Acceptance Model 3 (TAM3) as a theoretical framework, the study explores factors influencing adoption intentions. Conducted in Chongqing, China, it employs a cross-sectional design with electronic surveys distributed to over 388 individuals within a one-week timeframe. Statistical analyses, including KMO analysis, reliability testing, and SEM-SMART PLS, provide nuanced insights into FinTech adoption. The outcomes include an overview of prevalent solutions, demographic influences, and key factors shaping consumer intentions, contributing to global FinTech literature and offering practical implications for stakeholders navigating China's unique FinTech landscape.
