Abstract
In today's security-conscious environment, the need for robust security solutions is more emphatic than ever. Traditional security systems are plagued by vulnerabilities such as break-ins, intrusions, and inefficient access management, highlighting the urgent need for innovation. This project is significant as it aims to develop a smart locking and security system using facial recognition technology. It offers a seamless and secure access control solution that minimizes the risk of unauthorized access and enhances overall security. This project seeks to improve security measures and awareness by addressing these pressing security concerns, particularly in the gate entrance locking and security awareness system within condominium areas. The proposed system uses facial features as an authentication key for system access, providing a more secure and user-friendly alternative to traditional security methods. Additionally, it integrates eye blinking detection, enabling residents to communicate critical information to security guards through their eye blinking. The system's design and implementation involve several key steps, including hardware and software setup, experimental design and data analysis methods. These steps are meticulously executed to ensure the system's effectiveness and reliability in real-world scenarios. The results of this project showcase the practicality and efficiency of facial recognition technology
in enhancing security and access control systems. This study not only contributes to the advancement of biometric security systems but also provides valuable insights for future research and development in this field.
