Abstract
This study predicts and analyses the electricity demand in relation to electric vehicles (EVs) demand in Malaysia. It's observed that EVs can help decrease greenhouse gas emissions from petrol cars, trucks, and motorcycles which contribute to a significant part of Malaysia's total energy use and air pollution. Even though there's potential for it, Malaysia hasn't seen much growth in adopting EV technology yet. The study tries to anticipate the amount of electricity that will be required as more individuals begin using EVs, comprehend why these automobiles are not as widespread, and then recommend methods for encouraging their usage. By utilizing sophisticated statistical techniques, the research identifies connections between elements such as infrastructure availability or costliness and government policies along with how fast people purchase EVs. The outcomes assist in forecasting upcoming requirements for power and recognizing obstacles towards embracing EVs. From this analysis, recommendations are advised for policymakers and those participating in transportation planning to encourage EV usage and prepare for upcoming energy requirements. In general, this study gives an understanding of the connection between EVs, and electricity needs in Malaysia, offering knowledge that helps with sustainable transportation planning and environmental aims.
