dc.description.abstract	This survey is to determine rough index of drainage infrastructure system cost at low cost housing area in Kedah. Three low-cost development areas at Sungai Petani had been chosen as the survey areas. Drainage system development cost had been taken from the developer and also from related agencies and then revised based on present labour rate and material rate referring to design. The whole drainage cost analyst for every project was done by using computer. Study shows that the drainage system gross cost index is RM 10,268.84 I acres where 88.24% is for open drainage and 11.76% is for culv~rt. This cost is not including the main drainage (culvert more than 4 feet in size).	en_US
