| dc.description.abstract | This research will focus on issues latent in Al-Syiqaq 1 from an Islamic perspective. Such issues will be analyzed based on the Holy verses of Al-Ouran modelled upon the study carried out by Al-Faruqi This research shall accordingly be similarly guided in its approach towards the Islamic issues in Al-Syiqaq 1. Such an analyses shall also indirectly involve the written style and creativity of Shahnon in expressing the social phenomena and various aspects oflife in Islamic-Malay society ofthat era. In the first chapter, the discussion are on the research objectives, problems, scope, methodology and previous researched. The significance and the organization of the research will be focused at the end of this chapter. These criterias will explain the insight of this research. The second chapter will devote greater attention to the model used by Al-Faruqi in conveying the contents of the Holy ~ and this shall be discussed in greater detail. Further discussion on the fine-tuning of these contents shall be carried out vis-a-vis the verses ofthe Holy and the prophetic hadis. The third chapter explore Al-Syiqaq 1 from an Islamic perspective. These analyses while based on Al-Faruqi's model shall be viewed from Shabnon's literary techniques. Issues which have been identified includes man as the perfect creation of Allah, focusing on man as khalifah Allah and hamba Allah, the fitrah and the universality of Islam, marriage and dakwah. The fourth chapter provides the conclusion as well as suggestion for further research. It gears towards the findings and research hypotheses. This research showed the similarities among such contents of Al-Quran that viewed by Al-Faruqi and the issues in Al-Syiqaq 1. Shahnon's literary techniques also convey the issues analyzed from an Islamic perspective. | en_US |
