| dc.description.abstract | Conjunctions are important elements in sentence constructions, both in spoken and written forms. Although they appear to be simple, but in actual fact conjunctions have complex and varied:forms and functions. As both users of bahasa Indonesia and bahasa Malaysia are exposed to the two languages through the print and electronic media, a comparative study of the conjunctions and their functions in both languages is important. This study also analyzes the similarities and the differences of conjunctions in both languages. The result of this study can improve effectiveness of communication between users of both languages. This study states the various forms and functions of conjunctions in both languages. | en_US |
