This cross-sectional study investigated the reciprocal relationship between internal CSR and employees’ engagement and commitment within a model which draws on the social exchange theory. Specifically, this study examined the mediating role of the two dimensions of employee engagement (job engagement and organisational engagement) in the relationship between the five dimensions of internal CSR; namely health and safety, human rights, training and education, work life balance and workplace diversity, and the three dimensions of organisational commitment (affective commitment, continuance commitment, and normative commitment). This study utilized a nonprobability sampling method in the forms of quota and convenience sampling. The questionnaires were personally administered and collected from 336 frontline employees working within the banking sector in Jordan.en_US
